Refund policy
Last updated November 2, 2026
A song made here is meant to be given to someone, so it should be one you're glad to give. Here is exactly how refunds work.
Failed songs
Credits are taken when a song starts. If it fails, or the AI service refuses the words, they go back to your balance automatically and you can try again right away.
A name sung wrong
If the singer gets the name wrong in both versions, open the song (under it, or in My songs) and select Name sung wrong? It is sung again once, at no cost, from the same words, with the name spelled the way you type it. A re-sing that fails can be tried again.
Not happy with your first paid song
If you're not happy with the first song you paid for, email support@theaisonggenerator.com within 7 days of the payment and we'll refund that payment in full. You don't need to explain why, although we'd love to know. After a refund the credits from that payment are removed from your balance. If any were already spent, your balance may be negative and future credits first cover it. If you bought one song on its own, refunding it also removes that song from My songs.
Gifts
A gift link nobody has claimed can be taken back from My songs, and its credits return to you. A pack bought as a gift can be refunded within 7 days if its link hasn't been claimed.
How to request a refund
Open My songs and select Request a refund, or email support@theaisonggenerator.com. Include your receipt or order ID and the email used at checkout so we can find the payment. A request is reviewed before the refund is issued.
Incorrect or duplicate charges
If you were charged twice, the amount is wrong, or you don't recognize a charge from Cantoro, contact us with the date and the receipt. We will check the payment and correct any billing error.
Payment disputes and your rights
For the quickest help, please contact us before starting a payment dispute. You still have the right to contact your bank or card issuer. Nothing in this policy limits consumer rights you have under applicable law.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, our payment processor. Depending on your bank or wallet they usually appear within 5 to 10 business days.
Misuse
Words that break our terms (for example, lyrics from another artist's song) may be refused, and repeated misuse may lead to account closure. This does not limit the first-paid-song refund or your statutory rights.
