How it works

How do I make a song with someone's name in it?

Type their name, pick the occasion and add a detail or two: how you met, an inside joke, what they love. Decide whether it's sung or rapped, by a female or male voice, in what style. The AI writes lyrics with the name in the chorus and performs them in two versions, music and voice together; you hear the first 60 seconds of each free, then pay $4.99 once to keep the full song and download it as MP3. Already have lyrics, your own or from ChatGPT? Paste them and they're sung word for word.

  1. Tell it who it's for

Type their name, pick the occasion and add a detail only you would know, or paste lyrics you wrote. You don't need an account or an app.

  2. Voice and style

Sung or rapped, a female or male voice, and a sound like acoustic pop, country or R&B.

  3. Listen and download

Two full versions arrive in a minute or two. Listen to both and download the one that gets the name right as an MP3.

Cost, refunds, limits and tips
You need
Their name and a detail or two, or your own lyrics, and a style. Nothing to upload.
You get
Two full versions with the name in the chorus, music and voice together, plus the lyrics, to play here and download as MP3. Usually ready in a minute or two.
Price
One song (two versions) is $4.99 on its own, or 10 credits from a pack (packs from $12.99).
Refund
A song that fails returns its credits by itself, and your first paid song can be refunded in full within 7 days.
Limits
The AI writes the melody, so you steer the sound, not the notes. A name or a word can come out slightly off; the two versions are sung differently, so keep the one that gets it right. If both miss the name, each song can be sung again once for free, with the name spelled the way it sounds. The voices are generic AI singers: nobody's voice is cloned and no star is copied.

How to get a better song

Give the AI something only you would know: a nickname, a place, a habit, a line they always say. One or two details work better than a long list. In the style, name the genre, the mood and an instrument or two, like "acoustic pop, ukulele, hand claps". If the name is unusual, spell it the way it sounds ("Shivawn" for Siobhan).

  • Hear a free 60-second preview of both versions before you pay; keeping the full song is still $4.99, paid once.

FAQ

AI Song Generator FAQ

Will it sing their name right?

The name is written into the chorus, and you can read the lyrics under the song. The singer reads letters, so type an unusual name the way it sounds: in our test, "Siobhan" came out like "see-oh-ban" and "Shivawn" like the real name. If the singer still gets it wrong in both versions, select Name sung wrong? under the song: it is sung again once, for free, from the same words, with the name spelled the way you type it. Still not right, and it was your first paid song? Ask for a full refund within 7 days.

Can I use my own lyrics, or lyrics ChatGPT wrote for me?

Yes. Choose I have lyrics and paste them: they are sung as written. Mark the parts with [Verse] and [Chorus] and keep the lines short.

Can I change a line after the song is made?

Not inside a finished song. Copy the lyrics shown under it, change the line, choose I have lyrics, paste them and make a new song.

How long is each song?

Usually two to three minutes, with verses, a chorus and often a bridge. Both versions come as stereo MP3 files (about 180 kbps). There is no WAV, instrumental-only or separate vocal file.

Can I hear it before I pay?

Yes. Without paying, the song is made from your words and you hear the first 60 seconds of both versions, lyrics included (up to two free previews a day). Keep the full song for $4.99 to play it all, download both MP3s and get the free re-sing; the song you keep is the one you heard, not a new one.

How do I get the song?

Both versions play on the page, and once the song is yours they download as MP3 as many times as you like and stay in My songs. Nothing is emailed, and the play and download links only work for you, so to share a song, send the MP3 file.

Can it copy a famous singer's voice?

No. Nobody's voice is cloned, no celebrity voice is on offer, and a style that names an artist is turned down. Choose a female or male voice and describe the sound you want instead, like "soulful R&B" or "warm country".

Can I play it at the party or put it in a video?

Yes. Play it, send it and use it in videos, as long as you have the right to use the words and you don't present it as a real artist's song. Each song made here is marked as AI-made.

How much is a song?

One song (two versions) is $4.99, paid once, however long it is. Making several? Packs start at $12.99 for 3 songs. Credits don't expire, and a failed song hands its credits back.

Do I need an account?

No. Fill in the form and hear your free preview straight away, then pay for the song if you keep it. If you don't sign in, this browser keeps your songs for 30 days, and clearing its data or changing devices can lose track of them. Signing in keeps them on every device and lets you buy packs and send gifts.

How long does a song take to make?

Usually a minute or two: the lyrics take about ten seconds, then the singing. When the AI service is busy it can take several minutes or more. You can close the page; the song appears in My songs the moment it's done.

Can I share or post the song?

Yes. What you make is yours, not ours: send it, play it at the party or post it, commercial use included, as long as you have the right to use the words. Some countries don't grant copyright to AI-made music, and streaming distributors set their own AI rules.

What languages can it sing?

Paste lyrics in any language and they're sung as written. When the AI writes the words, it uses the language of your details, or English if it can't tell. Our examples are mostly in English.

Is it free?

Hearing it is. Your song is made from your words and you hear the first 60 seconds of both versions free, up to two a day, no card needed. Keeping the full song is $4.99, paid once: both versions to download, the lyrics and a free re-sing if the name is off. No subscription.

What do you keep, and for how long?

We keep your songs and lyrics until you delete them, and you can wipe your whole account whenever you like. Names and details you type are used only to write your song, never to train AI models.

What happens if a song fails?

Its credits return to your balance by themselves, so you can try again. If your first paid song disappoints you, email us within 7 days and we'll refund it in full.

Do credits expire?

No. Bought or gifted, credits stay in your balance until you use them.

Can I give songs to a friend?

Yes. Send some of your credits as a gift link, or buy a pack as a present. Your friend signs in, opens the link and makes songs of their own.

How do I pay?

You pay on Stripe's checkout with a card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or, in some countries, a local payment method. Prices are in US dollars, and checkout can show them in your own currency.

Is Cantoro Suno, or a voice cloning tool?

No. Cantoro runs on Suno's models through an API provider, but it's an independent site: Suno, Udio and record labels don't own or run it. It writes and sings new songs with generic AI voices, and it can't clone a voice or sound like a celebrity.
